Verona’s public bus network offers several routes that stop close to the Verona Arena. The nearest bus stops are:
• Piazza Bra Stop (1 minute walk)
○ Served by many city lines, including: 11, 12, 13, 30, 51
○ Walk directly into Piazza Bra and the Arena is right in front of you.
• Corso Porta Nuova Stop (5 minute walk)
○ Bus lines: 21, 22, 23, 24, 41, 61
○ Walk straight toward Piazza Bra following the main avenue.
Buses run frequently from Verona Porta Nuova train station, with an average travel time of 5–10 minutes.
From Verona Porta Nuova, the city’s main train station:
• Take any bus heading toward Piazza Bra or Corso Porta Nuova.
• Travel time is approximately 5–10 minutes depending on traffic.
• From either stop, the Arena is only a short walk away.
The Verona Arena is located in the heart of the historic center, making it easy to reach on foot:
• 15 minutes from Verona Porta Nuova Station
• 5 minutes from Via Mazzini
• 10 minutes from the Adige River
Simply follow signs for Piazza Bra, and you’ll arrive directly at the Arena.
If you are arriving by car, keep in mind that the Arena is inside Verona’s limited traffic zone (ZTL). Parking is available nearby:
• Parcheggio Arena – 5 minute walk
• Parcheggio Cittadella – 8 minute walk
• Parcheggio Piazza Isolo – 15 minute walk
After parking, follow the pedestrian pathways to Piazza Bra.
Taxis from Verona Porta Nuova station reach the Arena in about 5 minutes.
Ask to be dropped off at Piazza Bra, which is the closest taxi-accessible area next to the monument.
